Adding an Event: (Event Calendar Plugin Needed)

Click on Posts in the left-hand menu

Add New

Give your event a title in the first text window under Add a New Post.

If you have details about the event, add them in the second text window under all the icons.  You change the font size and color with the icons.  Click on the multi-colored-squares icon called the “kitchen sink” to see more editing icon tools (including font color).  You must highlight/select the text you want to change by clicking and dragging over all the words, then, while the text is still selected, click on the arrow to the right of the “A” with the colored bar underneath to choose a font color.  Change the font size by choosing an option in the drop-down menu to the right of “Paragraph” to select a heading size.

Add Event Time and Date: Below the text window for the details you just entered, you’ll find another window titled Event EditorClick the + symbol under Start Time to add an event.  Click the button on the right of the date to open the calendar and time stamp.  Click on the date that you want the event to occur.  Then, next to “Time”, you will see a window for the hour the event starts (24-hour time clock).  To change the time, click on the hour to increase the time, or press and hold the shift key and click on the hour to decrease the time.  You can also click and drag to the right to increase or drag to the left to decrease.  Change the minutes in the next window on the right the same way.  Specify the end time with the date and time to the right.

Publish your work by clicking the Publish button on the right.
